Miha Kovač is professor at the University of Ljubljana. In the publishing part of career, he was editorial director in the two largest Slovene publishing houses and editorial director of the Slovene edition of National Geographic Magazine. He is the author of more than fifty articles and four books on reading and book publishing. His mass market book Read to Breathe was translated to eight languages. In 2023, he was curator of the Slovenia Guest of Honour program at Frankfurt book fair. He is co-author of Manifesto on Higher Level Reading that was one of the pillars of the Slovenian program in Frankfurt.
