I hold a Master’s degree in Textile Technology and Engineering, I am an author and researcher. I have written the books Modus Vivendi: An Essay on the Political, Economic, and Social in Fashion (2014), The Tyranny of Fashion: Decoration as a Search for Identity (2016), and Made in Croatia: The Transition of the Croatian Textile Industry (2018). Since 2006, I have been publishing texts on sustainability, fashion theory, architecture, design, and music. I am also the author of several documentary dramas. Environmental ideas have been a constant thread throughout my life, and the central intention of all my work, from books and plays to photography, has always been change, empowerment, and encouragement toward action. Moving to Podravina, to a more sustainable and greener way of life, inspired me to take a bold step: from research and theory into practice and production. In 2020, in Podravina, I founded the Institute of Sustainable Fashion (ISF). At kcConnect, I will lead a workshop on creating natural dyes, inks, and charcoal, which I make myself from the plants that surround me. Through this workshop, participants will connect with the process of creation and the cycles of nature.
