I have been a Croatian language teacher since 2001, and I have been working at the First Gymnasium in Zagreb since 2007. For many years, I have led the successful school drama group Gordogan and taught the elective course Drama Education.  I am the organizer and initiator of numerous school showcases, events, performances, and concerts, and as a mentor to my students, I have received many awards at the LiDraNo Festival and the Croatian Language Competition. I have participated in numerous school, county, and national projects and programs (Reading in Focus, the Festival of World Literature, Centuries of Croatian Literature, etc.), and for many years I have mentored Croatian studies students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb during their teaching practice. For my work, I have received several awards, including the Ivan Filipović Award for the advancement of pedagogical theory and practice in secondary education (2017) and the Croatian Centre for Drama Education Award for outstanding contributions to drama and theatre education (2024). I am also a member of the author team behind the integrated textbooks for four-year and three-year vocational schools Tragom teksta (since 2025). I currently hold the title of Advisor Teacher (senior teaching rank).
