Lisbeth Mærkedahl

Holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science.

Her passion is to ensure that the library plays a relevant and significant role for society in general and for citizens. In a wide range of projects and processes with users, network and partners, she focused on the development of the “next library” – the library of the future.

For the past 7 years she has been working on a joint project between Chicago Public Library, IDEO and Aarhus Public Libraries on human centered design in libraries. The toolkit “Design Thinking for Libraries” was created from this project.

In spare time she likes to read a good book, spend time with friends and play football.
