Ivan Andrašić holds a degree in Pedagogy, he is an independent artist and a member of artistic-professional associations. He has been dedicated to painting since his youth and he has traveled a long and thorough path of development from naive scenes of the Podravina landscape, customary and rustic scenes, to an exquisite variety of impressionist paintings on glass and especially in watercolor. He created several graphic maps in collaboration with eminent literary authors, proving to be a synergistic illustrator of literary works. Very early, in 1971, he began having exhibitions in the country and abroad, and to date he has organized 60 solo and several hundred group exhibitions throughout Europe, the United States of America and Canada, where he stayed on study trips. Today, many of his paintings can be found around the world, in galleries, museums and private collections.
