Andy is an experienced full-time freelance trainer and consultant with a strong portfolio of clients in the academic, public and corporate sector. He has particular passion, experience and expertise in User Experience (UX) Research & Design: methods employed to measure how people really experience and use services. He regularly trains and consults all over the world, most regularly in the UK, Ireland, France, Sweden and Australia.
Prior to going freelance in 2017 he worked as an innovation project manager at Cambridge University Library and as a senior librarian at both Cambridge and Oxford University. He created and chairs the international User Experience in Libraries conference and last year he wrote the critically acclaimed ‘Handbook of UX Research & Design in Libraries’.
